New Delhi: Cashify has partnered with stand-up comic Gaurav Kapoor for a new YouTube-based comedy game show titled Lie Hard. The 8-episode series brings together popular Indian comedians to blend storytelling with audience interaction in a game-show format.
The show features well-known comics including Anubhav Bassi, Harsh Gujral, Gaurav Gupta, Ravi Gupta, and Gurleen Pannu. In each episode, participating comedians present multiple stories, only one of which is true, while others attempt to identify the real one. Audiences also get to vote live, adding a participatory element to the show.
A unique aspect of the format is the “Cashify Round,” where the audience has the opportunity to win real money by correctly identifying the true story. Episodes are being streamed on Kapoor’s YouTube channel, with new content scheduled every two weeks.
The collaboration represents a shift in Cashify’s approach to content and audience engagement, with the brand experimenting beyond conventional marketing. “Lie Hard is fun, clever, and keeps you guessing all the time,” said Kapoor. “Smart stories, sharper comics, and the thrill of not knowing what’s true keep you hooked.”
Kapoor, known for his deadpan delivery, also quipped: “All of the above is an absolute lie. I just thought about how I can run my YouTube channel with other people’s content. Cashify gave me a good deal and here we are with Lie Hard.”
