
Kumar is currently Vice-President and Head of Marketing (India Region) for UiPath, where he is responsible for establishing brand leadership and driving field marketing. For nearly three decades, he has led marketing, sales, operations and strategy for enterprise, SMB, consumer and channel ecosystems.His last assignment was as Head of Audience and Experiential Marketing for SAP in Asia, Pacific and Japan region, prior to which he has worked extensively with start-ups/incubation businesses and large multinationals like SAP, Microsoft, Perfetti and Pernod Ricard. He also co-founded LeadThink.org, a knowledge-based startup during his stint in Singapore.Kumar is a strong advocate of B2B marketing and is a regular speaker at industry/marketing conferences. He sits on APAC CMO Council advisory board, India Board of the Marketing Society, Board Advisor for BD Foundation- a non-profit fostering inclusion. He has been a member of CII National Marketing Committee, India (2013-14), Chairperson of Advisory Council for DMAI convention (2013-2016) and Chairman- World Brand Congress (2012-2013). He was recognised with the Innovation Leadership Award in the Asia Pacific and Japan at SAP twice in a row.Kumar received his MBA from IIM-Calcutta (1994) and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Kurukshetra (1988), He has also completed Executive programs from Wharton (2012), Harvard Business School (2014) and Indian School of Business (2015).
