New Delhi: In a bid to uncover the stories behind not-so-popular yet in-demand food joints, Swiggy has announced its Tikki Talk series where it ‘explores the stories behind restaurants you know and love.’

The first installment sees a conversation between Manju Mathew, founder of The Burger Junction and Rohit Kapoor, CEO, The Food Marketplace. They talk about Mathew’s entrepreneurial streak and about how this food joint in Kochi has burger patties sizzling on a dosa pan.

Kapoor gave an open call on his LinkedIn profile for people, saying, “Let me know the street food scene in your city and I’d love to pop up there for some chaat par charcha.”

Netizens praised the talk show for highlighting underrated food joints and promoting local food outlets.

In the past, Zomato had done a similar talk show a year ago. Hosted by Founder and CEO, Deepinder Goyal, the series, named ‘Zomato Breaking Bread’, featured restaurateurs as interviewees and had been recorded at the Zomato Headquarters.
