Katrina Kaif, founder of Kay Beauty, and Huda Kattan, founder of Huda Beauty, had an extraordinary sit-down talk about makeup, entrepreneurship, and the diversity of the beauty industry.

Dressed in Barbenheimer-coded outfits with Kaif in pink and Kuttan in grey, the two entrepreneurs of Kay Beauty and Huda Beauty presented their very different views on individualism, product development, and the opportunities and difficulties connected to growing a beauty enterprise.

From talking about her induction into the love for makeup through Kaif’s modelling career to exchanging lipsticks and foundations with each other, this surprising collaboration posted on Kay Beauty’s channel had fans cheering and rooting for more such ‘multiverse’ collaborations. 

A few fans noted this collaboration as Kaif’s strategy to enter into the international market and begin conversations around her beauty brand on a global scale.

Archies launched its latest digital film to celebrate Daughter’s Day this year, titled “Show Her That You Know Her.” 

The film captures the essence of the relationship between fathers and daughters, emphasising how they shape each other’s lives emotionally.

The film highlights how daughters bring warmth, understanding, and connection into their fathers’ lives as it creatively explores the scenario wherein fathers are seen as ‘alpha’ figures in the Indian household, taught to be strong and unemotional, this film addresses the silent but real struggles many Indian fathers face. It portrays a daughter's journey in helping her father express his feelings, share his hardships, and rewrite their relationship with love, compassion, and acknowledgment.

Flipkart has onboarded Tanmay Bhat and RJ Karishma as hosts for its Big Billion Days sale live show. 

The partnership is brought to life by OML. 

Pulling a reverse psychology move, Bhat is seen narrating reasons why people should NOT tune into the e-commerce giant’s live sale streaming from Sep 16 at 7 pm. 

In his reel post, he said, “Kitni baar bolu, not to watch par tumse hoga hi nahi Kyunki @flipkart Big Billion Days sale pe dhamakedaar deals aarahe hain!!”

In his signature comic style, Bhat calls out all ‘papa ki paris’ and ‘papa ki pras’ to not participate in the sale and pay full price for products. 

He also appeals to the ‘freebie lovers’ in people and reveals the live show he will be hosting with RJ Karishma during the live sale.

According to Bhat, the show will capture three guests, with the comedian interacting with each of them as the sale proceeds.

Scapia has announced the launch of its Monsoon Release 2024 through a three-episode mini series. This new film brings to life three friends on an international trip while experiencing Scapia’s launches. 

The mini-series addresses common travel pain points—from crowded airport lounges and the complexities of international flight bookings to managing foreign currencies and fluctuating forex rates. Through these scenarios, Scapia introduces a range of new products aimed at bettering travel experiences for its customers. Starring in the mini-series are Chintan Rachh as Sid, Kunal Bhan as Akash, and Kajol Chugh as Krysta.

  1. Westside launches latest season of ‘Limitless’ podcast with host Ahsaas Channa

The Aditya Birla Group fashion brand and Linen Club presented its Onam 2024 campaign, “Ona Westside has been curating conversations with its Limitless Podcast since 2022. Since its inception, the podcast has expanded its narrative with each episode, featuring female personalities ranging from actors to environmentalists. In 2024, the podcast welcomed a new host, Ahsaas Channa.

The Limitless Podcast went live on September 12, 9 PM and will be available on Spotify, Apple podcast, YouTube, Jio Saavn. 

The new season will feature Indian women from various fields, including comedian Urooj Ashfaq, chefs Chinu Vaze and Guntas Sethi, and Indian cricketer Renuka Singh Thakur, among others. The podcast also provides an inside look at Westside through the stories of its people. 

  1. Finolex Pipes captures Ganesh Chaturthi traditions that transcend time

Finolex Pipes and Fitting has launched films for Ganesh Chaturthi titled 'Peedhiyan Badlengi, Parampara Nahi' (Generations Change, Traditions Don't). This initiative aims to showcase the enduring spirit of Ganeshotsav, highlighting how cherished traditions transcend time and generational shifts across India's diverse cultural landscape.

The film set features four videos, each narrating a regional story of Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. It builds on the popular 'Peedhiyan Badlengi, Pipes Nahi' film, drawing parallels between Finolex's durable products and India's lasting traditions. 

The films aim to illustrate how Ganesh Chaturthi unites the nation through shared devotion while respecting regional nuances.
