Ajay Mehta promoted to head of content of GroupM

New Delhi: Ajay Mehta, chief content officer, Mindshare India has been promoted to the role of head of content, GroupM, WPP’s media investment group, as per media reports. 

The development comes on the back of GroupM announcing it was consolidating its Content, Sports and Entertainment offerings under one umbrella to form GroupM Content and Sport.

Mehta’s previous stints include a decade with Ogilvy and Mindshare, respectively. 

He joined Mindshare in 2015 as vice-president and was promoted to senior vice-president in 2020. He was promoted to chief content officer in 2023.
