Aanchal Johar joins Zee Media as Assistant Vice-President of Branded Content

Aanchal Johar, who was earlier the Deputy General Manager at India Today, has joined Zee Media Corporation (ZMCL) as Assistant Vice-President of Branded Content.

At ZMCL, she will be responsible for steering strategic partnerships and developing branded content for Zee News, Zee Business and Wion. Notably, this marks her second tenure with ZMCL, having previously served as Senior Territory Head from March 2016 to April 2021.

I would like to thank Mona Jain (CRO of Zee Media Corporation) for giving me this opportunity for the second time in my career and believing in me. Looking forward to successful innings with such an amazing team here at ZMCL," she wrote in a LinkedIn post.

Before assuming her position at India Today, during the period spanning from March 2023 to August 2023, she briefly held the role of Vice-President of Brand Solutions at iTV Network, serving for a single month in January.

At iTV Network, Johar was responsible for steering strategic partnerships for brands and Building the IP business for India News and NewsX.

Johar comes with almost 17 years of experience in the industry. She has also worked with brands like 9X Media and The Walt Disney Company.
