Zee TV had recently launched the second season of Alpenliebe Juzt Jelly Bakers’ Studio. Judged by two celebrity chefs - Kunal Kapur and Amrita Raichand - the show is giving India’s top 15 home bakers a chance to become India’s next baking superstar.
Airing every Sunday at 7 pm on Zee TV, Alpenliebe Juzt Jelly Bakers’ Studio Season 2 has given each talented contestant a chance to showcase their talent and impress the judges and the audiences alike with their baking skills.
This festive season, the contestants as well as viewers are in for a treat as TV actor Anjum Fakih, aka Srishti from Zee TV’s ‘Kundali Bhagya’, will be seen making an appearance during the Christmas special episode of the baking show.
The actor brought some surprises along with her in the form of mystery boxes during the shoot. She cheered the contestants, chilled with their families and helped the judges in scoring the desserts presented by the talented bakers. However, the highlight of the evening was Anjum’s beautiful poem which inspired each participant to give their best in the competition.
This Christmas special episode of Alpenliebe Juzt Jelly Bakers’ Studio Season 2 also marked the on-screen reunion of Fakih and Raichand after 12 years.
As Fakih shared, “I was absolutely ecstatic to be a part of Bakers’ Studio Season 2 as it was my first reality show appearance. What makes it a bigger deal for me is the fact that it is such a unique show, it is India’s first-ever televised reality show for bakers. The best part is that I have been following the season as Kunal and Amrita are a judge on the show. In fact, Amrita and I are reuniting on screen after nearly 12 years. I still remember, when I started my journey on television, I worked with her and now, after 12 years, we are coming back together on the Christmas special episode of this unique show.”
She added, “During the shoot, I got a chance to meet some brilliant bakers and I have to say, I was blown away by their talent. They baked some delicious desserts and it was an enriching experience for me to taste such delicious food. In fact, I polished my own baking skills under the guidance of the contestants of Bakers’ Studio Season 2. And they were so good that it brought alive the poetess in me and made me recite a sweet and powerful poem which inspired all of them.”
The special episode was aired on Sunday at 7 pm, on Zee TV.
