A few months ago, Elon Musk's X announced its plan to initiate ad-revenue sharing with selected verified creators for the ads displayed in the reply section of their posts. The platform has experienced an overwhelming response, leading to a slight delay in processing the payout, which will now take 'a few more days.'
In another tweet, he stated that while the program is open to everyone, one must be an X Premium (Blue) subscriber to be eligible to reap the benefits of the program.
To be eligible for your ad revenue share, you must be an X Premium (Blue) subscriber.
The ad money will otherwise be kept by X if you are not an X Premium (Blue) subscriber.
This program is open to everyone.

X’s Support Desk also pointed out that to be able to participate in the ad-revenue sharing program of Twitter, a user must be subscribed to Blue or Verified Organisations and have at least 15 million organic impressions on the cumulative posts within the last 3 months along with not less than 500 followers.
The number of people signing up for ads revenue sharing has exceeded our expectations. We need a bit more time to review everything for the next payout and aim to get all eligible accounts paid as soon as possible.

Before the rebranding of Twitter to X, Musk in February 2023, had announced his ad-revenue sharing plans for creators which further enable them to earn a living directly on Twitter.
In fact, certain creators had already received a notification with regards to the payment for the same from X’s (erstwhile Twitter’s) first block payment of $5 million.
