The initiative's aim is to provide easy solutions to act upon in day-to-day life by collaborating with a team of influencers, content, and government officials in order to make the Earth better, healthier, and greener for the future.
Through this campaign, Mad Influence and DLA aim to inspire individuals to make small yet significant changes to their daily routines that can help reduce their carbon footprint. The campaign will also highlight the importance of sustainable living practices and encourage people to adopt eco-friendly habits.
Shekhawat said, "Climate change is not an environmental problem alone. It's a behavioural problem. This problem is called the tragedy of the commons. When people use public resources, they often act selfishly and deplete the resource for future generations. Our honourable Prime Minister says that we have to move from mindless consumption to mindful utilization. Our government and the Ministry are doing their bit toward securing our future. We have the biggest revival project in the world, known as Mission Namami Gange, and we are also leading the biggest water conservation program in the world. A single step taken towards being pro-planet is as important as creating a significant impact on the environment. I urge you to join this exciting movement launched by Mad Influence and DLA in collaboration with the Ministry of Jal Shakti and transform yourself and your friends. Let us stand together and use #MadForEarth to create a mass movement to adopt a green lifestyle for the environment. Into the beautiful world that we live in.’’
Gautam Madhavan, CEO and Founder of Mad Influence, said, "Climate change is real and a very important issue to have a detailed discussion about at a world level. We at Mad Influence in association with DLA and the Ministry of Jal Shakti take immense pride in contributing our bit to safeguard our beautiful Mother Earth. The influencers and team of Mad Influence will always try to make this world a better place and initiatives like these are always our first and foremost priority. I thank Mr. Gajendra Singh ji for all the support and guidance provided to us for this amazing initiative called #MadForEarth."
As a part of the #MadForEarth campaign, the influencers use facts and quirks to connect the lyrics on their placards with ongoing environmental issues. They will then deliver easy-to-follow solutions to these issues as a call to action.
The campaign will also include personal interactions with the public to spread awareness about the importance of earth preservation in our day-to-day lives.
Additionally, the campaign will collaborate with sources such as NGOs, philanthropists, government officials, and global organisations to push out the main post on Earth Day and create a buzz around the need for preservation.
"We are delighted to partner with Mad Influence and the Ministry of Jal Shakti for the #MadForEarth campaign. We have a responsibility to use our platform to raise awareness about important social and environmental issues. With this campaign, we hope to inspire people to take action towards creating a better, more sustainable future for ourselves and generations to come,” said Sankalp Shukla, Founder of DLA.
