In yet another twist of turns in the Elon Musk x Mr Beast tweet saga around creators posting their videos on X and earning ad revenues from the same, Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast has re-uploaded his video, titled ‘$1 Car vs $100,000,000 Car!!!’, on X.
In his tweet, MrBeast mentioned, “I’m curious how much ad revenue a video on X would make so I’m reuploading this to test it. Will share ad rev next week.”
Retweeting this, X owner, Musk, mentioned “First MrBeast video posted directly on X!”
After this, he also took to the comments section of the tweet to mention that in his views, “It’s a great time to be a content creator on X.
To this, MrBeast responded, “I’m super curious how much the ad revenue will make”

This comes days after the billionaire took it upon himself to ask MrBeast to post his videos on the platform, to which he received an astounding reply from the creator.
At the time, MrBeast had responded to him by tweeting, “My videos cost millions to make and even if they got a billion views on X it wouldn’t fund a fraction of it :/ I’m down though to test stuff once monetisation is really cranking!”
Earlier this year, on January 9, X in its “Transforming the Global Town Square” blog emphasised that while 2023 was ‘foundational’ for X, 2024 will be ‘transformational’.
In the blog post, the company also highlighted that it invested in creators to enable more economic opportunity across the town square.
“We've paid over 80,000 creators through our ads revenue sharing program in less than a year,” it mentioned.
Furthermore, X in the blog post also emphasised that it will continue to invest in creators and content partnerships that attract new users and fuel advertising, create more original content and bring in more talent with some of the most interesting and engaged people on X.
