Aiming to catch eyeballs this Independence Day, brands went all out with their campaigns most of which had the nationalism and patriotism as their central theme, along with their role in making India a better place.
Brands across categories also rolled out campaigns to create awareness about the need to be free from stereotypes and biases, especially those that have an impact on the social fabric of the country.

IDFC Mutual Fund celebrated the country’s ‘unity in diversity’ distinctively with their latest investor awareness film, titled #UnitedByInvestments’, this Independence Week. The film pays tribute to the diversity that defines the various investors across the country.
BPCL Nationwide Network
#HarGharTiranga
Bharat Petroleum joined the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement in the build-up to India’s 75th Independence Day, with employees hoisting the flag at its nationwide network of 3 refineries, 123 Installations and Depots, 54 LPG Bottling Plants, Lube Blending Plants and 56 Aviation Service Stations. Channel partners and their employees also joined this movement at more than 20,000 Fuel Stations and 6,213 LPG Distributors, where they also distributed flags to customers.
BPCL captured this spirit in a music video launched specifically for the occasion, where its employees are seen waving flags at several locations, on catchy music.
ARTH
#Deshkirakhi
ARTH’s in-house team conceptualised and created the #Deshkirakhi campaign on the occasion of Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan to pay tribute to all the soldiers standing guard at our borders, making us feel protected and safe.
The campaign #Deshkirakhi captures the love with which these women create the beautiful Rakhis and packages them with care and finally dispatches them to be taken to the borders. The video unfolds a range of emotions in the viewer as it shows each Rakhi being created, packed with a personalised heartfelt letter and sweets for each recipient.
The personalised letter has the names of all the employees of ARTH and hence symbolically being sent from all 80 people working at ARTH as well as all those who created the rakhis.

On the occasion of Independence Day, Sirona launched a WhatsApp Period Tracker and the “Daughter India” campaign.
The campaign urges Indians to make a shift in their perspective – ‘India is Not Our Mother, It’s our Daughter’.

The video comes in a montage of sequences where the babies in their playful mood rhyme the national anthem of our nation and echo the tune of independence. It ends by wishing every Indian – ‘awaze hai anek phirbhi bhavna hai ek’.
