YouTube unveiled five new tools that creators can leverage at its ‘Made On YouTube’ event.
For these, the tech major has also leveraged generative artificial intelligence as and where necessary to help creators make, edit and share content in new ways.
As part of the new features, YouTube will now have Dream Screen, an AI image or video background generator; Aloud, an automatic dubbing tool; and AI insight to get video ideas and outline suggestions based on what content the audience is already watching.
The creators will also have a dedicated video editing app, YouTube Create, for polishing content on the phone, along with Assistive Search in Creator Music for finding the perfect soundtrack for the video via Creator Music.
According to YouTube, these tools will also open up for creators new forms of creative expression, reduce time-consuming and expensive tasks, and allow them to reach more viewers.
That being said, the video-sharing platform also shared that while the company expressed last year that it wants to be the place to create a business, this year it has all been about being the place to create.
