The Covid-19 lockdown has imposed multiple restrictions on daily activities, confining people to their homes and throwing out of gear normal eating and working schedules. During such times, people tend to binge-eat junk food, skip meals and even develop irregular sleep cycles — leading to fitness problems and health issues.
Zyduss Wellness’ SugarFree is promoting healthier choices in life and motivating people through its digital campaign, #StayHomeStayFit, to adopt healthier habits during the quarantine period by doing in-home exercises, inculcating healthier food habits and avoiding unhealthy calories by switching to Sugar Free Green. The campaign is being promoted through social media and executed this month.
The campaign has two legs. The first is ‘Social-distancing from sugar’, where Sugar Free’s advocates Parineeti Chopra, Chef Sanjeev Kapoor and nutritionist Pooja Makhija encourage people to distance themselves from sugar by switching to healthier options like SugarFree Green through live sessions and social media posts.
Sugar Free has already hosted a recipe contest with SugarFree as the main ingredient wherein winners will win prizes, including a lunch date Sanjeev Kapoor, gift vouchers worth Rs 10,000 and many more. More than 200 participants participated in the recipe contest. The live sessions and recipe contest had a cumulative reach of almost 5 million.
The second leg is with influencers. Influencers such as Rocky and Mayur, Vipul Goyal, Aadar Malik, Raunaq Rajani, Gaurav Kapoor and others have taken the StayHomeStayFit challenge and trying to get fitter during the lockdown by talking about their fitness journeys and taking suggestions from their audiences about diet tips and workouts through their social media pages. This activity saw multiple influencers and their fans take on the challenge with a reach of 16 million.
SugarFree aims to encourage its consumers and audiences to switch to healthier choices like Sugar Free Green during the lockdown to ensure a healthy lifestyle by keeping calories in check.
